Meet Bruno Dreyfürst

I’m Bruno Dreyfürst, a French-German actor based in Strasbourg, France, with a career that spans the stage, television, and film.

My artistic journey began with training at the University of Strasbourg. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of diving into many different worlds: from the discipline of classical theatre (including roles in Molière’s The Learned Ladies and Shakespeare’s The Tempest) to the spontaneity of improvisation (with companies like InéditThéâtre in France and LUX Theater in Germany). I also love contemporary and visual theatre (or movement-based performance), having created engaging comedy with Cie du Kafteur and burlesque pieces with Houppz Théâtre.

On the screen, audiences may recognize me as Lieutenant Dietsch in the France 2 crime series, Disparition inquiétante. I was recently honored to play the role of Georges de Beauregard in Richard Linklater’s feature film, Nouvelle Vague, which is slated for competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

A key part of my craft is my vocal versatility. I am completely fluent and perform in French, German, English, and Alsatian. I’m also a singer, which adds a strong musical dimension to my interpretation and performance palette.
